The EffeDi Meccanotek Laser Warp Stop Motion is the evolution of the traditional controlled warp stop motion system.

Based on laser optical detection, it allows for real-time detection of warp thread failure and automatic activation of the LED signal at the exact point of breakage.
The result is constant and immediate monitoring, reducing machine downtime and increasing loom productivity.

Laser Device how it works

The Laser, an innovative evolution of the controlled warp stop motion, replaces the single control via left and right LED heads with an optical detection device. When a yarn breaks, the heald wire falls onto the contact bar, creating a contact that instantly stops the loom.

The laser intercepts the fallen heald wire and activates the corresponding LED on the dedicated indicator bar, precisely identifying the area where the break occurred.
This allows the operator to immediately detect the position of the broken yarn, drastically reducing intervention times and quickly restaring the production.
